What is the Honzuki Exchange?
This exchange is pretty much like a Secret Santa! You make one or more gifts for another Honzuki fan who joined this exchange and keep this a surprise. In return, you get a surprise gift from another Honzuki fan.Do I need to follow @honzuki-exchange to take part in the gift exchange?
You’re not obligated to follow this account, but it is highly recommended. That way you don’t miss any announcements or deadline reminders and, of course, to enjoy all the wonderful gifts that will be shared here. All Honzuki fans are welcome!Is this event SFW or NSFW?
This event is largely SFW, but gifts can be up to a Mature rating at most (as long as your Fellow Bookworm signs off on it). If the content of the gift falls within the confines of what can be found in the series, it may be permissible.Examples of content that is and is not permitted to be portrayed (not an extensive list):
Permitted Portrayals: Discussion of flower offerings (e.g. exploring trauma, allusions to involvement), abuse in a class-based society, climbing the towering stairway (e.g. mentions of death by explosion, becoming feystones, mourning)NOT Permitted Portrayals: Explicit or overly graphic depictions of sex, violence, gore, or deathHere’s a great analogy using an envelope that explains the difference between mature and explicit in the context of sexual content. Your information will be collected through a Google form, so a copy of your application will be sent to your email. Once the requested information has been received, your URL will be added to the Participants list as fast as possible. (Please don’t change your URL during the exchange period.)I need to make a change on my sign-up form (e.g. fix a typo, update preferences/wishlist). Is there a way I can do that, or does the mod need to do that manually?
Upon submitting your sign-up form, you will be sent an email confirmation. To make edits to your form, open this email and click on the "Edit Response" link near the top. You will be able to make edits until the end of the sign-up period, at which point the form will no longer accept submissions and changes.After submitting your changes, you will be sent another confirmation email, and each additional change after submission will result in the same. The mod, however, only receives an email for each participant's first submission; they are quietly made aware of changes on the spreadsheet tracking the information. (TL;DR: Edits won't inconvenience the mod — you will, however, spam your own email if you make frequent edits to your sign-up form.)What do I give?

The gift exchange spans 3 days, so you can upload your gift at any time during those days—just be sure to post your gift by the last day, or you will be counted as a no-show and will be summarily banned from participating in future exchanges.If you are unsure (even a little) if you will be able to post your gift within that time, please contact the mod to request an extension (up to 10 days after the last day of the gift exchange). They will let your Fellow Bookworm know to expect a delay, but be sure to keep the mod updated as changes occur.How do check-ins work?
Check-in reminders will be posted throughout the course of the Creation Period, counting down until the start of the gift exchange. Hello hello, I’m Oly (commonly found as @olyollyoxenfree on social media)! I’m from Florida in the U.S. I picked up the Honzuki anime in early 2022 and then began reading the light novel series later that same year. I kind of just lurk in the tags and don’t interact with the community much, but I love this series, and it deserves more attention, so here I am with this online gift exchange!I’m also a co-mod on the Precure Secret Exchange blog, if you happen to be a Precure fan..What if I have additional questions?

The gift exchange events will be done on a quarterly basis. Sign-ups will run for 10 days, from the 1st to the 10th of March, June, September, and December. Fellow Bookworms (gift exchange partners) will be sent out on the 11th of the aforementioned months, and the creation period will run for 8 weeks.Periodic reminders will be posted on the week before and the day of check-in dates. If you need additional reminders, please leave a note in your sign-up form.Check-ins are optional, but they are a great way to touch base with the mod and/or ask for feedback or ideas!
